Elizabeth Campbell

Born about 1826
in Jackson County Arkansas.
Daughter of Ephriam and Nancy Campbell.
Elizabeth first married Edward Shipman.
Edward was born February 3rd 1821 - died late 1850.
Edward and Elizabeth lived in the Sulpher Spring Township
of Montgomery County Arkansas and were farmers.
Edward and Elizabeth had three children,

Ephriam D. Shipman
born 1846.

Nancy Naomi Shipman
born 1848.

Sarah Elizabeth
born 1850.

Nancy Naomi died in September of 1857 at age nine from Dropsy.
Edward's father was Issaac Shipman born in 1777 in North Carolina.

After Edward died, Elizabeth married John Ragsdale.
They continued living in the Sulpher Springs Township.
John and Elizabeth's children were,

John Stephen Ragsdale
born July 6th 1852.

Fanny Melissabeth Ragsdale
Born 1853

John Ragsdale
born 1855.

Jarrett Melten Ragsdale
born January 7th 1856.

Jane Ragsdale
born 1858.

When Elizabeth's second husband John Ragsdale died
in about 1860 she went on to marry Mathew Harbin.
They were married on February 3rd 1863 in Mt. Ida
Arkansas by Justice of the Peace James Hooper. They
left the Sulpher Spring area and moved to the Marble
Township. Mathew was married once before to Mary
Jane Anderson and they had three children.

Elizabeth is buried in Green Cemetery at Jessieville
Arkansas with Mathew Harbin at her side. Her death
date is unknown. Elizabeth Campbell's parents were
Ephriam Campbell born June 10 1795 and
Nancy Naomi Butler born unknown.
Ephriam's father was William Campbell born July 11th 1761.
William's wife was Ruth Crawford. They were married on
January 12th 1791. Williams father was probably
James Campbell, not 100% sure of that though.
James Campbell served in the Revolutionary War.
