William Porter Ragsdale
Porter Ragsdale is my
grandfather. Born August 15th 1897 and died February
1st 1983. He married Martha May Shaw on August 3rd 1917. She was born
on May 11th 1899 and died on January 10th 1980. Porter was born in the
living room of the log home that his father Stephen built in Garland
County.
It still is standing there today. May was born in Saline County, the

I miss them both very much. Porter was a powder man for the forest
service
helped build State Highway # 7 North.
